2018 Annual NASPA Retreat

We have a lot of great things planned for the convention – tours, peer learning, the launch of the new NASPA website. This is a great opportunity to meet other shrine leaders from across the country and share ways to enhance each of our respective shrines.

Monday, November 5

• 9:00-11:00am – Registration/Check-In
• 11:00am – Departure for EWTN
• 11:15am – Arrive at EWTN Studios
• 11:15-11:45am – Lunch at EWTN
• 12:00 – 2:00pm – Live taping of EWTN’s At Home with Jim & Joy (two shows)
• 2:00-2:45pm – Welcome Meeting at EWTN
• 2:45 – 3:45pm: Tour of EWTN
• 4:00pm – Opening Mass at the EWTN chapel
• 4:45pm – Depart for hotel
• 5:00-6:30pm – Hotel time
• 6:30pm – Depart for Dinner at Macaroni Grill

Tuesday, November 6

• 9:15am – Depart for St. Paul Cathedral (Diocese of Birmingham)
• 9:45am – Arrive at St. Paul Cathedral
• 10:00-10:30am – Private audience with Bishop Baker
• 10:30-12:00pm – Tour of St. Paul Cathedral
• 12:00-1:00pm – Mass
• 1:00pm – Depart for lunch
• 1:15-2:15pm – Lunch at O’Charley’s
• 2:15pm – Depart for Hilton Garden Inn for workshops
• 2:45-5:00pm – Workshops & Peer Learning (New NASPA website , Marketing , & Business 101)
• 5:00-6:00pm - Break
• 6:00pm – Social & dinner at Seasons 52

Wednesday, November 7

• 9:30am – Depart for the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament
• 10:45am – Arrive at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament
• 11:00-12:00pm – Mass
• 12:00-1:00pm – Lunch (catered)
• 1:00-2:00 – Tour the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament
• 2:00-4:00pm – Business Meeting and Peer Learning
• 4:00pm – Return to the hotel
• 5:15pm – Arrive at the hotel
• 5:15-6:30pm – Hotel time
• 6:30pm – Dinner at hotel

Thursday, November 8
