Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament

The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament is a Eucharistic Shrine open to all. The grounds are home to a beautiful Romanesque-Gothic Church and Monastery of Poor Clare Nuns. The Shrine includes a Castle, a life-sized Nativity Scene, the John Paul II Eucharistic Center, and a replica of a Lourdes Grotto.

Saint John Paul II
National Shrine

The Saint John Paul II National Shrine preserves the life and legacy of Saint John Paul II. Established by the Knights of Columbus in 2011 and designated a national shrine in 2014, the shrine includes a 16,000 sq.ft. permanent exhibit, a first-class relic for veneration, and floor-to-ceiling mosaics.

National Shrine of
Our Lady of the Snows

The Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, a devotion dating back to 352AD, is one of the largest outdoor shrines in North America spanning 200 acres. Pilgrims are welcome to walk or drive throughout the shrine to enjoy its immense beauty and partake in prayer in a peaceful environment.

The National Shrine of Saint Maximilian Kolbe

The National Shrine of St. Maximilian Kolbe at Marytown is a ministry of the Conventual Franciscan Friars of St. Bonaventure Province. The shrine is dedicated to promoting the witness and life of St. Maximilian Kolbe, who was martyred in the Holocaust at the Auschwitz concentration camp.

National Shrine of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos

The National Shrine is dedicated to Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, a Redemptorist priest originally from Bavaria. Pilgrims are welcome to visit our lovely St. Mary’s Assumption Church and our Seelos Center Museum and Shrine. We also have an impressive collection of relics for pilgrims to see and venerate.

Saint Jude's

The Shrine honors St. Jude the Apostle, the patron saint of impossible causes. On the left side of our church is a peace garden with the world's largest statue of St. Jude. The Shrine's St. Jude Novena, held four times a year, draws numerous people seeking God’s will and favor.

Shrine of Saint Anthony

National Shrine of the Cross in the Woods

Located in Indian River, Michigan, this large outdoor shrine houses a variety of smaller devotional shrines for pilgrims to visit along with an indoor church for worship in poor weather. The main site to see is the “Man on the Cross,” a 28 foot tall sculpture of Christ Crucified.

National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church

Dedicated to Mary, Mother of the Church this shrine features an awe inspiring fourteen foot stainless steel sculpture of Mary, which stands in a natural amphitheater surrounded by fountains.The Mothers’ Wall of Life has names of mothers from around the world engraved in the polished black granite.

El Santuario de Chimayo

Chimayo, New Mexico
The Santuario de Chimayo contains two historic chapels, the Lord of Esquipulas Chapel and the Santo Niño de Atocha Chapel. The later, founded in 1857, became a popular pilgrim destination following the pilgrimage of survivors of the Bataan Death March, who thanked Santa Niño for their survival.

Our Lady of Victory Basilica & National Shrine

Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine

Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine was opened on Trinity Sunday, May 30, 1926 by the Good Shepherd Sisters. The Shrine is a replica of the Grotto in Lourdes, France. Incorporated into the Grotto are two stones taken from the stone upon which Our Lady appeared.

National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa

Basilica of the
National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians

Holy Hill was declared a Shrine with "Portiuncula privilege" by Pope Leo XIII in 1903 and was elevated to a Basilica in 2006. Founded in 1771, this Basilica is the Shrine for devotion to St. Junipero Serra, the Spanish Priest and explorer. Located in California, where Serra spread the Gospel and preached, the Church was finished in 1797. This shrine has the sacred space of St. Junipero Serra’s final resting place.

Saint Jude Shrine

St. Jude Shrine in the heart of Baltimore has been operated and staffed by the Pallottines for over 80 years. The Archbishop of Baltimore entrusted the Shrine to the Pallottines in 1917. Novena Services were established around WWII, when devotion to St. Jude reached remarkable proportions.

Shrine of Our Lady
of Joyful Hope

This official shrine of the Diocese of Charleston. Its centerpiece is an icon of Our Lady inspired by Saint John Paul II's teachings on the Eucharist and the Year of the Rosary in 2003. Visitors are greeted by a plaque that says, "Leave your burdens here."
